Artistic Director – Kimberley Bianca
Kimberley is commencing her candidature at UNSW Art and Design. She has worked as a researcher for Saxion Centre for Design & Technology, archivist at Deutsche Kinemathek, operated her small business Azured Vault in videography and vision mixing, and has been running community workshops internationally. She has presented in Australian cities and towns, and at cultural centres in Europe, UK, and USA.
Kimberley’s practice involves audiovisual concept albums, curating events, poetry, designing interactive platforms, and VJ’ing. Her projects explore creativity in telecommunicating with each other and with computers, and she looks forward to a more synthesised approach to the arts, technology, social and life sciences. She is part of the global effort to trigger a contemporary renaissance, enabled by communities, with open access to information and technology to generate equal control of empowerment.
