ARTIST CALL OUT

Electrofringe is happy to announce its return to This Is Not Art in 2013, happening in Newcastle from October 3-6. We’ll be holding a massive one-day showcase and an epic party, encompassing exhibition, performance, discussion, skills sharing, career information and networking opportunities. It’s going to be a zillion (ecologically friendly) megawatts of fun!

Electrofringe is now calling for proposals from a broad range of disciplines including electronics, kinetics, experimental interfaces, sound, music, video, film, projection, installation, data mapping, networked and online collaborations, locative technologies, mobile artworks, live art, software art, hacking, app development, research, culture jamming and all hybrid and new genres that haven’t yet been invented.

So if you are an electronic artist (or a collective of artists) interested in presenting, exhibiting or performing your work and demonstrating your creative process, discussing and developing ideas with feedback from peers and members of the public, sharing your skills and having a radically good time, we want to hear from you. You could do anything, really.

ARTIST APPLICATIONS CLOSE MIDNIGHT, WEDNESDAY 1ST OF MAY 2013.
